Sunshine & Company, is a local website design and maintenance company located in Burnt Hills, New York. We are a small company working with little overhead. We are able to keep our prices low because of:

        1. Our low overhead,
        2. No middle man profit as you deal directly with the person working on your site,
        3. The service we perform is not the only thing we do to feed our children.

    My typical customer pays less than $7.00 per month for their server, a little more for a secure server which is needed if your doing transactions online.

    I use a third-party Server Farm for this... they are much better then I can ever be. They back up the files every day. Store the backed up files at a separate location, to prevent loss. They boast 99.9% uptime which translates to NO Downtime for your web site.. You can also have as many as 100 email addresses for you or your employees for this same price.

Page Costs

    The pages on your site have to be designed, typed and checked... Graphics needs to be produced, cleaned up, optimized and incorporated into the pages and checked again. After all of this it all needs to be uploaded to the server.

    I typically charge fifty dollars per page. Believe me, that's inexpensive for what I have to do. I do charge more for graphics, and graphic optimization (optimizing the graphics to as small a file size without reducing quality). The reason for optimizing your graphics is to keep the graphic-file size small/without sacrificing quality. This will insure that the web page loads onto your prospective customers computer as fast as possible.

You can easily upload text, graphics, create forms or add links, and even add pages right through your web browser. No special software is needed. By doing the updates yourself, you can avoid extra webmaster fees (Hmmm, I don't think that's good for me) every time you want to change or add something to the site.
